We have been growing sweet onions since 1994. The cooperative created by Nicolas Escand is very dynamic and allows us to ensure marketing. The designations of AOC and AOP enable us to guarantee the quality of our production .

The sweet onions are pearly in colour, with a sweet taste. Harvested in August, they will last until April.

Cultivation is difficult and requires careful attention, hard manual work and good management of watering. We have built an irrigation system and a shed for storage. Too much rain hurts the crops and the onions enjoy the sunny days that are common in the Cevennes.

The onions are well suited to the land here and have helped us to rehabilitate the old terraces . The sweet onion fields are now typical of the Cevennes landscape.
